With newly crowned GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin invoking Hillary Clinton in her news conference Friday, Joe Biden may need to update Lloyd Bentsen’s famous retort.

If we ever needed to prove that Republicans just don’t get it, their VP “surprise” is definitive proof. Are all of us women so lacking in intelligence that we cannot vote on issues but instead, validate ourselves by voting for our own sex, no matter who?
